Bio:
I am a photographer and digital artist based in Portland, Oregon. My work centers on conceptual imagery that blends photography and post-production and explores psychological states, embodiment, and ambiguity, favoring atmosphere over answers through a cinematic visual language. I am currently a collaborating artist at Imperfecta Gallery. My work has been collected internationally and licenced commercially.
Artist Statement:
I use photography and digital compositing to create art that thinks back: moments of tension, suspension, and internal negotiation. Rather than building literal or linear narratives, I am drawn to enigmatic scenes that invite interpretation-- what it means to inhabit complexity without simplifying it. Recurring themes include death, gender and cybernetics, and archetypal imagery.
Music is the my primary influence, followed by Film, surrealism, and classical art. The images operate as constructed scenes— sometimes incorporating fantastical elements or hypothetical worlds. My process begins in-camera to ground ideas in lighting, pose, and expression before refinement in post, often with digital collaging.
