Bio
I am a San Francisco-based artist and photographer specializing in digital post-production. Pulling from my background in drawing, painting, and music to create high-impact conceptual images and motion graphics, my work has been featured on the cover of The Portrait Project and Mob Journal. Other publications include Dark Beauty, an interview at The Phoblographer, Selin, IMIRAGE, Moevir Paris, Black and White Magazine, and Feroce. My photos have won awards, been licensed on Getty, collected internationally, and selected for "Editor's Choice" and curated galleries on 500px.
Artist Statement
I see photographic digital art as an illustrative medium to explicate the nexus between seen and unseen, beauty and darkness. Ever passionate about concepts of visual and auditory dissonance, my work embodies a shadowy aesthetic influenced by Art Nouveau, Surrealism, Classical sculpture, and Renaissance art. Music, film, urban scenes, and literature remain my primary inspirations for translating concepts into images.
The process begins in-camera with an emphasis on communicating mood through light and color. Photographs then evolve into digital art via post-processing, accompanied by lots of coffee and loud music.
